About TLIF0005 Apply A Fatigue Risk Management System
The National Heavy Vehicle Regulator has schemes that allow drivers to have more flexible fatigue options. These schemes are called Basic Fatigue Management (BFM) and Advanced Fatigue Management (AFM). This course is for drivers that need to hold the relevant unit of competency to be part of these schemes.

Passing this course does not automatically entitle a driver to work under these schemes. The company that they drive for must be part of the scheme and the driver must be inducted into the scheme before they can use these flexible options.
